Tracey came to me earlier in the year as she was ready to replace the existing kitchen that she had inherited with her property. Despite the large & bright nature of the room, the original kitchen made the space feel cramped, dark & unorganised. Tracey wanted a bright, open, minimal kitchen that was practically organised & had a useful workflow. She already had in mind a layout that she wanted to explore but needed a little help with some of the finer details.

 

Together we designed this minimal & contemporary shaker kitchen. She chose a simple colour palette of light grey, graphite & oak; & opted for no wall units to add to the minimalism that she had envisaged. Following her brief, the final kitchen is a beautifully crisp space with the Elica Bio wall hood taking centre stage. We opted for a mix in worktop materials to add warmth & durability so we used a premium laminate in on the island & quartz around the sink, hob & splashback area.

 

My refurb team removed the old kitchen, took down a large column to open the room up even more, prepared all 1st & 2nd fix plumbing & electricals & finished off by updating the radiators, laying new flooring & painting the walls & fixtures in the kitchen & dining room. This project had a 3-week turnaround from rip out to final completion.
